The Simudyne API is centred around a REST architecture. The following describes the many ways in which you can interact with your models through our API.
The API differentiates between three types of simulations. A simulation that runs only a single instance of itself and can be interacted with is referred to as the interactive. Similarly, a simulation that runs multiple instances of itself and returns the aggregate result is referred to as the batch. A simulation that can be setup to run with different input parameters for each tick, once or multiple times is referred to as a scenario. Finally a model-sampler is a simulation used to explore the parameter space of a model.
